Irish Property
The
Irish property market is going through dramatic changes
at the moment. I wonder how many of us are thinking
- If I had of known that there was going to be an
Irish property boom, I would have bought ten houses
- and now settling down to retire! I honestly believe
that nobody saw it coming really. Irish people are
passionate about their property and land. There has
been, and there will continue to be many disputes
over land and property between families and neighbours.
A fence only has to be mis-aligned by a millimetre
or so and there is immediate fallout! Since Irish
property and land prices have rocketed, one has noticed
new fences being erected where people are making claim
to land that a mere 10 years ago, would have been
seen as wasteland.
Recently
there has been a surge of UK buyers looking to buy
Irish property for both occupation and investment.
At one time it was just those who emmigrated returning
to their roots, but now UK buyers with no ties here
what-so-ever are happy to make Ireland their new home.
So
what of the Irish property market for 2007? Bring
it on!
